Living

To be eligible to benefit from a flexible start date, however, your tenancy agreement must:

a) be signed before 31st August 2020;

b) be for a minimum tenancy length of 44 weeks and

c) have a Tenancy start date of before 31st October 2020.

b) If you are paying by instalments, we will make a pro-rata adjustment to each of your unpaid rent instalments that are due after 1st September 2020. The adjustments will reflect the value of Rent for the period between your original Tenancy Start Date and your revised Tenancy Start Date

Please note that the Canto Court team is continuing to monitor the current situation in relation to the start of the 2020/21 academic year and may amend or revoke these terms at any time.

What happens if I am unable to travel to the UK due to travel restrictions that arise as a result of COVID-19?

If the law in your home country prohibits you leaving the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, or the law in the United Kingdom prevents you entering the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a result you are unable to study in the United Kingdom in the academic year commencing in September 2020, then we will agree to cancel your Tenancy Agreement.

In order for your Tenancy Agreement to cancelled successfully, you must provide us with notice by 31 August 2020.

In the event of notice being served by this date, we will provide a refund of any payments received from you on or before 14 August 2020, minus your Security Deposit.
